Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MyUploader ("the app", "we") handles information when you use it to publish videos to TikTok. MyUploader is a desktop application operated by an independent developer. Contact: infuzoriya09@gmail.com.
1. Summary
MyUploader runs on your computer. It has no servers, no user database and no analytics. Information received from TikTok is stored only on your computer and is used only to show your connected account and to post the videos you choose.
2. Information we access
From TikTok, with your permission
- Basic profile (scope
user.info.basic): your TikTok open ID, display name and avatar. Used to show which account is connected and which account a video will be posted to. - Creator posting settings (Content Posting API): your nickname, available privacy options, whether comments, Duet and Stitch are allowed, and the maximum video length. Used to build the posting screen so it matches your TikTok settings.
- Access and refresh tokens issued by TikTok after you sign in. Used to call TikTok's API on your behalf.
Content you choose
The video file you select and the caption and settings you enter. The video is uploaded directly from your computer to TikTok's servers (scopes video.publish and video.upload). We do not receive or keep a copy.
3. How information is used
- To sign you in with TikTok and show your connected account.
- To publish a video to your TikTok account, or send it to your TikTok inbox as a draft, only when you press the corresponding button.
- To display upload and publishing status returned by TikTok.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling or any purpose other than the features above.
4. Storage and retention
Tokens and basic profile data are stored in a local file on your computer. They remain there until you sign out in the app (which deletes the file) or delete the file yourself. Nothing is stored on servers controlled by us.
5. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your information. Data is exchanged only between your computer and TikTok, through TikTok's official API, to perform the actions you request. TikTok's handling of your data is governed by the TikTok Privacy Policy.
6. Your choices
- Sign out in the app to delete stored tokens and profile data.
- Revoke MyUploader's access at any time in the TikTok app: Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Apps and services permissions.
- Email us to ask any question about your data.
7. Security
All communication with TikTok uses HTTPS. Sign-in uses TikTok's OAuth 2.0 flow with PKCE; your TikTok password is entered only on TikTok's own page and is never seen by the app.
8. Children
MyUploader is not directed to children. You must meet TikTok's minimum age requirements to use it.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
